Hi there! I am Nancy, a trauma-informed therapist in the state of California. Being a trauma-informed clinician means that I look beyond symptoms and carefully take note of the obstacles you've faced, big or small.
I love my job and appreciate everything about the human mind — from the energy that guides our moral compass, to the negativity that can debilitate us. I believe everything has its place and if we take pause and look at ourselves compassionately, we will find meaning and conviction.
My clinical journey began in 2011 in San Francisco, where I served children, young adults, and families from culturally diverse backgrounds. Trained in both community mental health and academic settings, I learned not only the internal struggles my clients faced, but also the external environments that contributed to their anguish.
Three years ago my work shifted to serving adults in a primary care setting, culminating a broader understanding of the various challenges we face within the human lifespan. Since then I have been blessed to work with people of varying age groups, appreciating and taking nothing for granted.
When I am not busy therapeutizing, I am engulfed in my role as a mom, a conscious life partner, and best friend to my loved ones. These days I am busy family blending and adapting to a vastly changing environment.
I serve Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Orange County. Telehealth available statewide and beyond. Coming soon: New York and Tennessee.
I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, tailoring my approach to what works best for each individual. My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for the whole person.
Individual therapy offered in person and via telehealth — plus clinical supervision, all delivered with compassion and care.
Life can take many unexpected turns, leaving us feeling confused, exasperated, and alone. Even the most competent and brilliant person can find themselves stuck in precarious places. Therapy can help, especially during these circumstances.
Psychotherapy is a unique service. Your therapist provides a platform that enables you to process your thoughts, feelings, and fears without judgment and shame.
Reaching out for support takes a whole lot of courage — courage in knowing that we've exhausted our resources, and perhaps ready to find that space within us that allows growth and connection.

Book Telehealth SessionClinical supervision is one of the most crucial aspects of our field. I would argue it is the single most important stepping stone in the journey of a clinician. Our path is rewarding, but no path begins without trials and tribulations.
When I started out as a new clinician, supervision was a place for me to fine-tune my moral compass. It was the appropriate place to ask: Am I doing the right thing? What more can I do for this client?
I was fortunate to work under skilled, supportive, and compassionate supervisors. I am paying it forward by offering supervision at a low cost. Contact me for more information.
