psychotherapy

Life can take many expected turns, leaving us feeling confused, exasperated, and alone.  Even the most  competent and brilliant person find themselves stuck in precarious places. Therapy can help, especially during these circumstances.

Psychotherapy is a unique service. Your therapist provides a platform that enables you to process your thoughts, feelings, and fears without judgment and shame.

Reaching out for support takes a whole lot of courage, courage in knowing that we’ve exhausted our resources, and perhaps ready to find that space within us that allows growth and connection.

telehealth

Telehealth is vastly becoming the preferred method of delivering healthcare services largely due to the pandemic, but it is also gaining popularity due to convenience and increased accessibility. Admittedly, before the pandemic, I was resistant to the idea of virtual sessions, however, after experiencing much success, I have since had a change of heart and have adapted virtual sessions into my practice.

supervision

Clinical supervision is one of the most crucial aspects of our field. I would argue that supervision is the single most important stepping stone in our field. Our path is rewarding, but no path begins without trials and tribulations. When I started out as a new clinician, supervision was a place for me to fine-tune my moral compass. It was the appropriate place to ask: Am I doing the right thing? What more can I do for this client? Sometimes I felt something in my gut, but being a newbie, I didn’t quite know how to conceptualize it. Clinical supervision was the place for me to question, take in, learn from seasoned clinicians and proceed with integrity. I was fortunate to work under skilled, supportive and compassionate supervisors. These early clinical relationships are invaluable. I am paying it forward by offering supervision at a low cost, as my supervisors offered me. Contact me for more information.
